This is a used original Lucas pull type starter switch commonly found on many British cars of the 50's & 60's including MG, MGTD, MGA, Triumph, Hillman, Ford, Austin, etc. This particular switch came out of a 1956 MGA and has been sitting in a box for many years. The stampings on the switch include: " Lucas "; "Made in England"; manufacture date of "11 55"; and the model is "76423A". This switch if of the original design with black rubber insulator pads.
