6 plug wires and one coil wire. These were installed on my 1985 911 for less than 2000 miles. Red spark plug wires are not for me. I put on black Clewetts instead. They worked flawlessly and were removed with respect when pulling them off the plugs and the distributor cap. I will say, in no uncertain terms, I removed these wires only for aesthetic reasons and not because I think something might be wrong with them.
