This is a black glove box lid for a Volkswagen Beetle Classic from the 1970s. It comes with a turn button catch and is designed for air-cooled bugs. The product is a door item that includes a lock. Made in Germany. The product is not a performance part and is not universally fit. No key for lock and is missing rubber ring. Some trace rust to inner lower bracket/hinge area.
